Phil Abbott

Phil has been with Reach Separations since it was formed in 2011. As one of the founding team, he maintains responsibility for overseeing the operational and technical processes of the laboratories.
Before joining Reach Separations, Phil spent 12 years as a medicinal chemist at Fisons (now AstraZeneca) before moving into separations science where he created the small molecule purification service.
Fun fact: Phil can complete the Rubik’s cube in 25 seconds, and is also a keen runner with eight marathons under his belt and a PB of 3:08:10
